Sharon Bellows is a co-founding partner of UBM Law Group and leads its Real Estate Transactions Practice. Ms. Bellows’ practice focuses on a wide range of commercial real estate transactions. She has extensive experience advising public and private companies in all aspects of single property and portfolio acquisitions, property dispositions, acquisition financings, construction loans, corporate level debt, commercial leasing, and construction and property management. Ms. Bellows has represented a diverse client base, both as in-house counsel and outside counsel.
Prior to co-founding UBM Law Group, LLP, Ms. Bellows served as Senior Real Estate Counsel for BioMed Realty Trust, Inc., an NYSE listed mid-cap REIT, headquartered in San Diego, California. Ms. Bellows also served as an attorney in the real estate department of Luce, Forward, Hamilton & Scripps LLP and in the transactions department of O’Melveny & Myers LLP in Los Angeles.
Ms. Bellows was born and raised in Encinitas and earned her undergraduate degree in Political Science from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. She earned her law degree from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles where she graduated cum laude and order of the coif and was the Executive Editor of the Loyola of Los Angeles International & Comparative Law Review.
